I have been treated at this clinic for most of my life and i can say honestly that the people there treat you more like a pay check than a patient. It was impossible to get an appointment, no follow ups were done. I was misdiagnosed for more than 20 years with Asthma when my actual issue was acid reflux. I am more angry about the fact that Dr. X would not listen to my complaints that the increased dosages of steroid puffers were not working and there was something else wrong than the fact that they got the diagnoses wrong. Everyone makes errors but if your patient is telling you the medication isn't helping then maybe you should listen to them rather than treat them like a hypochondriac and just increase the dosage! If you are looking for a doctor then do NOT go here unless you literally have no other choice!

I am an opiate addict and have been struggling with addiction for eleven years. I had reached my all time low, or rock bottom as some call it and was finally ready to reach out for help, only upon doing so was turned down or away as there are very few/limited resources out there to help with addiction and what is available is extremely strained and full to capacity. I had never considered methadone before as I have seen firsthand how many abuse it and become addicted and never get off of it and I wanted to get sober not trade one addiction for another, however I was lost and sick and had nowhere else to turn. The methadone clinic was also full to capacity and I was placed on yet another waiting list. That's when I was told about Stem. I was for warned that he did not just accept anyone and he was not easily manipulate and that he helped only those who were serious about helping themselves. This sounded great to me as this was exactly what I was looking for. My first appointment he made me wait just under six hours to be seen but I believe that was a test to see if I was serious enough to stick around. The next appointment was just under five hours wait. As time went on the wait became less and less however by normal standards the wait is still abnormally long. The reason this does not seem to bother me as much as it does others is because I also have bipolar and over the years I have seen many doctors and specialists and have yet to meet one who cares as much as Stem does. Though you may wait a long time to be seen, once you are in the room and discussing your issues he does not rush you or make you feel like he doesn't care to hear what is going on. He listens and he cares and he gives you as much time as is truly needed to get to the source of the problem. For many years doctors have been rushing me in and out of appointments and writing me countless scripts, some of which were not the correct medications needed, which they would have known had they listened and not rushed the appointment in the first place. Also many doctors have continued to write me prescriptions for opiates and narcotics knowing I was an addict and have been for over ten years. Upon meeting Stemeroff my life has drastically changed for the better. He has truly given me the tools and knowledge and support to live a healthy life! He has referred me to a leading specialist that deals with bipolar and he has gotten me on medication that finally works and does not have horrible side effects. I have been sober for almost two years now which is the longest I have ever been sober. He has helped me in more than one way and I truly believe if there were more doctors in the world like him there wouldn't be so many people who feel like there is no help for them or that their doctors have failed them. He is definitely a character and he absolutely does not put up with anybody's crap, young or old. If you are looking for a doctor that you can manipulate into giving you bandaid solutions than he is not the doctor for you but if you are tired of being rushed out of every appointment and feel like you are not getting the help you truly need than Dr.Stemeroff is your man. I owe this man my life and words can't express how truly blessed I am as an addict to have had the opportunity to have someone like Dr. Stemeroff to help me when I felt like all hope was lost!!!

What is wrong with this medical office... They just don't give a shit... Sad because their is such a need for a good doc in La Salle.

Punctuality: Medical Knowledge: The Secretary: Understanding, Caring, Helpfulness: Post Appointment Action: Comment: She falls behind regularly and you can expect to wait a minimum of 1 to 2 hours. the clinic doors open at 9:00 and there were already people waiting outside the building. This issue effects her time with you. Your appointment is rushed, with you often having to force her to take time to listen to your concerns and respond effectively. I do not recommend this doctor. If you truly care about your health find a doctor who cares as well.and a reception that is not rude to the English speaking.

Dr. Ali Nasser as rated on 2012-01-31. Punctuality: Medical Knowledge: The Secretary: Understanding, Caring, Helpfulness: Post Appointment Action: Comment: The reception staff at this office are mediocre and will not wow you with their friendliness but Dr. Nasser more than makes up for it. This guy GETS IT! Dr. Nasser genuinely cares about your health and well being. He's is extremely thorough in explaining problems, treatment, procedures and/or things to be closely monitored. His overall knowledge and ability to articulate the situation in a clear and concise manner is superior to any GP I have ever spoken to. He documents all interactions with clients meticulously and will exhaust all measures to diagnose and treat whatever the problem. Highly recommended; unfortunately I don't believe he is taking new patients.

I didnt realize how great she was until dealing with other doctors. She is quick and to the point but always takes the time to listen and UNDERSTAND what you are going through. If you have the opportunity to see Dr. Moss you are very fortunate!! Thanks Doc!

I dont think she really cares and her staff is the same. She is my wife and daughters doctor but since the past few dealings with her office I will do everything I can to find my daughter a caring doctor. They are not helpful, never on time, and take walk ins during my daughters booked appointment time. She is so quick while in her "care" and dosen"t listen to her patients. My Doctor has always gone above and beyound to help and listen to me so experiencing the poor service Dr. Sabry and her staff provided I am shocked that she is still in business. Unless you have to DO NOT use Dr. Sabry's services!!!
